Following is a calendar of events occurring in 2010 for the NFB of SC. Check often for updates or additions.

NFB of SC Convention at Columbia Marriott. To make your hotel reservations, call toll-free at 800-327-6465 and mention that you are coming to the NFB of SC Convention to get our rates of $74.00 per night (Plus Tax) for rooms accomodating up to four people. Pre-registration is available for the State Convention as well. Simply complete the Pre-Registration Form and return with your payment of $55 per person (Save $10 off the $65 on-site registration, ) which includes convention registration, as well as the Friday Reception, Continental Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, and tickets for the luncheon and banquet on Saturday, to the Federation Center.

Can't make it to Columbia?? Don't despair! For the first time ever, All the General Sessions and banquet will be streamed live! Listen Live, beginning Saturday Morning, August 14 at 9:00 a.m. until the close of the banquet, then Sundy, August 15 from 8:45 until the close of the convention!

The Convention will kick off with a spooky Friday the 13Th Halloween Bash! Come out in costume (or not) and enjoy the festivities!

State-Wide Division Meetings (Parents of Blind Children, SC Association of Blind Students, Blind Merchants, and Computer Science and Technology Division) meetings

General Sessions culminating in the 2010 Convention Banquet at which Scholarships and other awards will be presented.

Fun Day FestivalCome spend your Labor Day with us at The Rocky Bottom Retreat and Conference Center for the Blind for a time of games and festivities. In years past, we have had the Miss Rocky Bottom Beauty Pageant, the shotgun wedding, and, as always, an annual auction. If your looking for a little fun, laughter and relaxation, join us in the cool mountains of South Carolina for some down home time away. We look forward to seeing you there on September 7, 2009.

State board Retreat--All State Board Members and Chapter and Division Presidents are invited to share a weekend of fun and fellowship at Rocky Bottom Retreat and Conference Center. The Rocky Bottom and NFBSC boards will meet on Saturday and conclude with a Christmas party Saturday night.
